In 2020, before the founding of Football is Everywhere, one of our founders made a documentary style video interview with a player that he thought was interesting. That interview turned into a full page story in the biggest newspaper in the region. It resulted in strangers coming up to the player in a country where people don’t often come up to talk to you just like that. In that moment, the founder realized that people can’t care about what they don’t know about. Since that article, the newspaper increased coverage of the team. 

We believe that women’s football has a huge disadvantage from the perspective of media coverage and quality coverage, as well as the quality of content, and that’s why decided to commit the majority of our knowledge, experience, and resources, to telling the story of women in football whether that’s players in women’s football or whether that’s coaches, referees, or simply people trying to grow women’s football, whether that’s through documentaries and video content, photography, storytelling or media consulting.
